"If you don't fight for what you want,
don't cry for what you lost..."

Mail from a friend....

God make me a TV

A teacher from Primary School asks her students to write an essay about
what they would like God to do for them... At the end of the day, while
marking the essays, she read one that made her very emotional. Her husband,
who had just walked in, saw her crying and asked her: - 'What happened?'
She answered- 'Read this. It is one of my students' essays.'

'Oh God, tonight I ask you something very special:
Make me into a television. I want to take its place and live like the TV in
my house.
Have my own special place, and have my family around ME.
To be taken seriously when I talk....
I want to be the centre of attention and be heard without interruptions or
questions. I want to receive the same special care that the TV receives even when it is
not working.
Have the company of my dad when he arrives home from work, even when he is
tired. And I want my mom to want me when she is sad and upset, instead of ignoring
me...
And... I want my brothers to fight to be with me...
I want to feel that family just leaves everything aside, every now and then,
just to spend some time with me.
And last but not least, ensure that I can make them all happy and entertain
them...Lord I don't ask you for much... I just want to live like a TV.'

At that moment the husband said: - 'My God, poor kid. What horrible
parents!'

The wife looked up at him and said: - 'That essay is our son’s!!!

Time for a quiz - mail from a friend

One day, an expert in time management was speaking to a group of business students and to drive home a point, used an illustration those students will never forget.

As he stood in front of the group of high-powered overachievers he said,
"Okay, time for a quiz," and he pulled out a one gallon Mason jar and set it on the table in front of him.
He also produced about a dozen fist-sized rocks and carefully placed them, one at a time, into the jar. When the jar was filled to the top and no more rocks would fit inside, he asked,
"Is this jar full?"
Everyone in the class yelled, "Yes!"
The time management expert replied, "Really?"
He reached under the table and pulled out a bucket of gravel. He dumped some gravel in and shook the jar causing pieces of gravel to work themselves down into the spaces between the big rocks.
He then asked the group once more, "Is the jar full?"
By this time the class was on to him.
"Probably not," one of them answered.
"Good!" he replied.
He reached under the table and brought out a bucket of sand. He started dumping the sand in the jar and it went into all of the spaces left between the rocks and the gravel.
Once more he asked the question,
"Is this jar full?",
"No!" the class shouted.
Once again he said, "Good."
Then he grabbed a pitcher of water and began to pour it in until the jar was filled to the brim. Then he looked at the class and asked,
"What is the point of this illustration?"
One eager beaver raised his hand and said, "The point is, no matter how full your schedule is, if you try really hard you can always fit some more things in it!"
"No," the speaker replied, "That's not the point. The truth this illustration teaches us is, if you don't put the big rocks in first, you'll never get them in at all."
What are the big rocks in your life:
Time with your loved ones, your friends, your dreams, a worthy cause, your faith,
Remember to put these big rocks in first or you'll never get them in at all."
Tonight, or in the morning, when you are Reflecting on this short story, ask yourself this question:
What are the big rocks in my life? Then, put those in your jar first.

Never worry how many people dislike you

An interesting mail from a friend........

A man hated his wife's cat and he decided to get rid of it. He drove 20 blocks away from home and dropped the cat there. The cat was already walking up the driveway when he approached his home.

The next day, he decided to drop the cat 40 blocks away but the same thing happened.. He kept increasing the number of blocks but the cat kept coming home before him.
At last he decided to drive a few miles away, turn right, then left, past the bridge, then right again and another right and so on until he reached what he thought was a perfect spot and dropped the cat there.

An hour later.... The man calls his wife at home and asked her, "Jen is the cat there?" "Yes, why do you ask?" answered the wife. Frustrated the man said," Put that damn cat on the phone, I am lost and I need directions to reach home!!!

Moral:
"How much ever we dislike somebody, someday we will need their assistance. So never worry how many people dislike you... "

Smart Thoughts

Nice mail from a friend......

Don't compare yourself with any one in this world.
If you compare, you are insulting yourself.

Don't complain about others; change yourself if you want peace.
It is easier to protect your feet with slippers than to cover the earth
with carpet.

No one can go back and change a bad beginning,
but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.

Easy is to judge the mistakes of others.
Difficult is to recognize our own mistakes. (Self audit is very important for personal progress)

If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it.
If a problem cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

'Changing the Face' can change nothing.
But 'Facing the Change' can change everything.

Be bold when you lose and be calm when you win.

No one will manufacture a lock without a key.

Trust that God created solutions for all problems we meet.

Every successful person has a painful story.
Every painful story has a successful ending.
Accept the pain and get ready for success.

Heated gold becomes ornament.
Beaten copper becomes wires.
Depleted stone becomes statue.
So the more pain you get in life you become more valuable.

Mistakes are painful when they happen.
But year's later collection of mistakes is called experience, which
leads to success.

Life laughs at you when you are unhappy...
Life smiles at you when you are happy...
Life salutes you when you make others happy...

If you miss an opportunity don't fill your eyes with tears.
Tears may hide another better opportunity in front of you.

If you keep doing what you have always done, you will keep
getting what you have always gotten. (Please learn from your
mistakes and be quick about it!!!!!!!!!! )

For things to change, you have to change.
For things to get better, you have to get better.

Wish you all success !!!
